Supply Chain & Logistics Account Manager (Permanent)
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Country: UK Rate: £90k - £100k per annum + bonus, benefits, negotiable, hybrid
Supply Chain & Logistics Account Manager is required by a growing and very successful organisation to lead sales and business development of supply chain and warehousing services across the UK market.
You will be responsible for:
- Building strong multi-level customer relationships with the client;
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the clients on supply chain and logistics innovation;
- Identifying and seizing new business opportunities;
- Expanding existing engagements;
- Contributing to customer-specific business proposals;
- Overseeing portfolios of projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery;
- Leveraging deep knowledge of supply chain domain to create innovative solutions to business challenges;
- Negotiating contracts and resolving issues.
Required experience and skills:
- ability to build board room level relationships with company's clients
- extensive experience in selling supply chain and warehousing solutions to retail companies, manufacturing organisations, FMCG sector, etc.;
- experience in managing teams of supply chain and warehousing consultants;
- good knowledge of supply chain and warehousing processes and the ability to translate it into new business offers, account development and stakeholder relationship building;
- strong leadership skills and ability to lead change while inspiring and developing business development and account management teams;
- willingness to travel.
