Architect - Renowned Belfast Studio - Revit Experience Essential - £Attactive Package

Your new company
HAYS Architecture & Design NI are proud to be working on behalf of a well-established, award-winning Architectural Practice in their search for an experienced Architect. To be based in their attractive studio in the heart of Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, this practice is amongst the most innovative and progressive-minded in the province, with business initiatives and working practices built around the core of their business; their people. With the needs and wellbeing of their building's end-users central to their approach, pragmatism and 'Thinking from the Inside' form an intrinsic part of this organisation's ideology. With a well-balanced company structure, compelling and attractive projects, and constant striving for challenging conventions - they offer a dynamic proposition to design-led, technical Architects looking for a platform on which to bolster their career. If you or someone you know is currently feeling stifled, demotivated or in need of a truly fresh perspective - this is the opportunity to explore!
Your new role
As an experienced Architect, you'll be tasked with job-running on large-scale building projects across NI & Mainland UK. Whilst the studio are always exploring new avenues and project types by way of diversifying, their 'bread & butter' is Technical Delivery (ie RIBA stages 4+). Therefore, you will be tasked with working under the tutelage of an Associate or Director in bringing the scheme to completion with associated duties such as chairing design meetings, liaising with clients & shareholders, managing the wider internal project team & ensuring progress is on-time, within budget and in accordance with building & planning regulations. With this studio at the forefront of BIM Level 2 integration and development, you will use your technical proficiency to ensure thorough oversight of models, clash detection and maintenance throughout the project's lifecycle, and mentor/collaborate with not only juniors but the wider organisation in terms of best practice and innovation.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified Architect (RIBA/RIAI) with 3-5+ years post-qualification experience, with demonstrable abilities across project delivery (of works in excess of £5m). You'll possess strong communication and time-management skills, with a profound knowledge of construction, detailing and the ability to present your ideas and drawings clearly, concisely and at times to large groups of colleagues/external contractors/clients. Due to the nature of this studio's set-up, Revit proficiency is essential, with wider abilities across AutoCAD, SketchUp, VRay tec highly desirable. As the location of ongoing and future works will likely encompass the wider UK, you should be comfortable and able to travel where required, for 1-2 days maximum.
What you'll get in return
A full-time, permanent position with a renowned Architectural Practice in the heart of Belfast. Hybrid working is on offer for successful applicants, and in addition to a generous salary of circa £35-£42,000 you will avail of their EOT scheme, pension, flexible working days, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, paid professional registrations, Bike2Work Scheme & a list of wider benefits. With an easily commutable office base, extensive supported learning and access to intriguing and challenging projects - this should appeal to Architects looking to broaden their skills, elevate their profile and ultimately work for a household name practice here in Northern Ireland.
